General

  • QHow do I view my reservation?

    ATo view, modify, or cancel a reservation booked via our website visit this link. For reservations booked via our Central Reservations Office or via a partner agency/partner website, please call 866-833-6299.

  • QWhen is check-in/check-out time?

    ACheck-in time is 4 p.m.; check-out time is 12 p.m. If you arrive prior to check-in time, we are happy to valet park ($30/overnight) your car and store your luggage until your room becomes available.

  • QDo you allow smoking on property? In the rooms?

    AWe are a 100% non-smoking property. There are no rooms that allow smoking but there are designated smoking areas on Stewart Street and on 7th Avenue outside of the hotel.

  • QDo you have high-speed wired and/or wireless Internet access available?

    AWe have wireless Internet available throughout the hotel. Wired connections are not available.

  • QDo you have a fitness center? What kind of equipment does it have? What are the hours?

    AThe hotel has an on-site fitness center located on the second floor. This service is complimentary for guest use, available 24 hours per day and can be accessed with your room key-card. The fitness center offers free weights, elliptical machines, treadmills, weighed medicine balls, as well as towels and water.

  • QDo you offer room service? What are the hours?

    AThe Hotel Max features room service selections from our restaurant Red Fin. Room service is available 24 hours daily. A limited late-night menu is offered from 10 p.m. until 6:30 a.m.

  • QDo you have a business center?

    AThe hotel has an on-site business center on the lobby level available 24 hours daily featuring desktop computers, laptop connection, printing, faxing, copying and wireless Internet services.

  • QDo you have a pool?

    AThe Hotel Max does not have an on-site pool. Ask our guest services representatives for assistance with local pool/aquatic options.

  • QDo you have a spa? What are the hours?

    AThe Hotel Max does not have an on-site spa. Ask our guest services representatives for assistance with spa options and arrangements.

Transportation/Directions

  • QHow do I get to the Hotel?

    AFrom I-5 North:Take exit 166 (Stewart Street exit) and continue onto Stewart Street toward Denny Way. Merge onto Stewart Street. After crossing 7th Avenue, the hotel will be on your right.

    Note: Monday thru Fridays, 6 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. the Valet parking area is located on7th Avenue; not on Stewart Street.

    From I-5 South: Take exit 165 (Seneca Street), then take a right onto 6th Street, off the exit, take a right on Virginia Street, then a right on 7th Avenue and a right on Stewart Street. The hotel will be immediately on your right.

    Note: Monday thru Fridays, 6 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. the Valet parking area is located on7th Avenue; not on Stewart Street.

    From I-90 West: Take exit 2C for I-5 N, then take the Madison Street exit, make a right on Spring Street, a left on 8th Avenue and a left onto Stewart Street. The hotel will be on your right.

    From 520 West: As you near Seattle, follow signs to I-5 South toward Portland (exit will be on your left-hand side of the freeway). Merge onto I-5 South. Take exit 166 (Stewart Street exit) and continue onto Stewart Street toward Denny Way. Merge onto Stewart Street. After crossing 7th Avenue, the hotel will be on your right.

  • QDo you offer free shuttle service to/from the airport?

    AThe Hotel Max does not have a shuttle service. Fare-based town car transportation can be arranged through our guest services representatives.

    In addition, there are a number of other transportation options to/from the hotel:

    • Taxi Cabs: Trips to or from the airport take about 25-35 minutes and are approximately $45.
    • Downtown Airporter: It is a bus-like transport departing from the airport with several stops at a few downtown hotels and then looping back to the airport. It typically takes 45 minutes and costs $12 per person.
    • LightRail: This is a train that picks up from the parking garage of the airport and drops off 2 blocks from the Max at Westlake Station, just below the Nordstrom Flagship store. The trip from or to the airport takes about 45 minutes and costs $2.50 per person.
  • QWhat are your cross streets?

    AThe hotel is located at 620 Stewart Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues. Stewart Street is a one-way West-bound street.

  • QDo you have onsite parking? How much is parking? Is it included in my room rate?

    AThe hotel offers onsite, unlimited in-and-out valet parking for $33 per night, plus State and City taxes. Valet parking is not included in the hotel room rate unless it is part of a package or special offer. Package and special offers information can be found on the Special Offers area of our Web site. Self parking is not available through the hotel.

  • QHow do I view my reservation?

  • QWill your rooms allow rollaways/cribs/playards? Is there a charge?

    AThere are only a few rooms with adequate space for a rollaway or crib/playards. If you require any of these items during your stay, please call (866-833-6299) ahead of your visit to ensure that we are able to accommodate your request as availability is not guaranteed. There are no additional charges for rollaways or cribs/playards.

  • QI booked on a Web site other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?

    APlease contact the Web site or agency that your reservation originated with to make changes to your itinerary. These changes will then be reflected in our system.

  • QI booked on a Web site other than the hotel Web site and I was guaranteed a room for “double occupancy” but I need specific bed types for my reservation. How do I request this?

    APlease call ahead (866-833-6299) to place your request for specific bed types (King, Queen, 2 Doubles, etc.) or other special needs. Your request will be noted in your reservation but availability is not guaranteed until check-in time. Upgrade fees may apply.

  • QWhat is the minimum age requirement to check in to the room?

    AGuests must be at least 21 years of age to register at the hotel.

  • QWhat is your cancellation/deposit policy?

    AThe hotel's standard cancellation policy for non-restricted reservations is 24 hours. These reservations must be cancelled by 4 p.m. local hotel time.

    Some reservations may have different cancellation policies and penalties (i.e. Prepaid, non-refundable, non-cancelable reservations OR reservations booked via partner agencies/websites). Please review your confirmation or itinerary for more details.

  • QIs my ID/passport required at check in?

    AWe do require a photo ID at time of check in for all reservations.

  • QWhat age do kids stay for free?

    AWe do not charge for children 17 and under to stay in a reserved room. For any third (or more) person in a double occupancy room, there is an additional $20 fee per person.

  • QDo you have connecting rooms?

    AWe do not have connecting rooms at the Hotel Max. If you need to be placed near another room, please call (866-833-6299) ahead of arrival to request your specific arrangements. While availability is not guaranteed, we will do our best to accommodate your request.

  • QDo you have ADA rooms?

    AYes, there are four ADA rooms in the hotel. Some include modified bathtubs, while others have roll-in shower combinations with seats and safety bars. Please call (866-833-6299) ahead of your stay to ensure that we have availability.

  • QDo you have an early departure fee?

    AWe do not have an early departure fee for non-restricted reservations. Please note that prepaid, non-refundable, non-cancelable reservations OR prepaid reservations booked via partner agencies/websites will not be refunded for early departures.

Restaurant

  • QWhat are the hours of the restaurant/bar/lounge?

    AOur restaurant Red Fin Sushi Bar is open from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. on weekends. The restaurant is closed between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Accounting

  • QI have questions about my bill. Who do I call?

  • QWhat forms of payment are accepted to pay for my room?

    AWe require a credit card for guarantee of a registration at check-in; however, payment by a major credit card (Master Card, Visa, American Express, and Discover) or cash upon departure for charges is accepted.

Pets

  • QAre pets allowed? Are there restrictions for weight, height, or types?

    AWe do allow pets with a maximum weight of 75lbs. There is a one-time non-refundable pet fee of $45 per stay. Your pet will be provided with a pet bed, food and water bowls, as well as waste bags. This fee is waived for service animals.

  • QDo you have pet free rooms for those with allergies?

    AWe do not have pet restricted rooms. Rooms that have been occupied by pets are deep cleaned upon the pet’s departure.

  • QDo you have pet sitting or dog walking services?

    AWe do not offer pet sitting or dog walking services. If your pet will remain in the guest room while you are away, we ask that you provide us with a contact cellular number so that we may contact you in case of emergency.

  • QHow far do you have to walk to take your pet out?

    AThe closest option is across the street on Stewart and 7th Avenue in the courtyard of the Federal Courthouse building (where there are grassy areas).

Concierge

  • QI want flowers, chocolates, champagne and/or gifts sent to the room. How do I do this?
